Making A Purchase
Our prices are in GB Pounds, unless otherwise selected, we accept payment by:
Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Our prices are displayed in £'s (GBP), and you will always be charged in UK Pounds Sterling unless you select to pay in your local currency of EUR or USD. Orders being delivered to UK addresses can only be paid in GBP.
PLEASE NOTE, ALL SKATES ARE SIZED IN BOX SIZES.
Please note that skates in Youth sizes are aimed at very young children (under 5’s)
All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible. Actual products may differ slightly in appearance to images shown
Ice Skates and replacement runners will be sent out the same as they leave the factory. This usually means that the blades will be unsharpened, unless otherwise stated. We do not sharpen skates before sending for safety reasons. Should you require a grind, the first one will be free of charge. Please email us with your requirement after placing the order. However, please note that once a skate or replacement runner is sharpened it cannot be returned unless faulty.
Once you have completed checkout, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Puck Stop Ltd.
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it
The customer is to be held liable if they provide incorrect information on the delivery details
Shipping And Handling
Orders over £100.00(Inc. VAT) for MAINLAND UK addresses are free of charge and sent by courier.
Orders under £99.99 (Inc. VAT) are charged at £4.50 (Inc. VAT) and sent by Royal Mail signed for delivery.
Most of our larger parcels are delivered by Couriers - someone must sign for the order or your parcel will be taken back to your local depot. If you are out at the time of delivery, the driver will usually leave a card and call the following day. If you're out again the driver will leave a card asking you to contact them to arrange an alternative delivery time. Parcels can arrive any time up to 6:00pm, but usually arrive before 3pm.
Puck Stop will not be able to refund postage costs unless we have made a mistake on your order.
Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered to you or are left with a person or place nominated by you.
The Products will be your responsibility from the completion of delivery. You should check all Products you receive against your order as soon as possible to make sure they reflect what you ordered and that they are not damaged or are not as described. If you discover that the Products do not reflect what you ordered, are damaged or are not as described you must tell us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering this by email.
All deliveries by courier are delivered Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays
We try our best to keep our web store as up to date as possible. Even though our online catalogue is updated regularly, there is always a possibility the ordered item(s) marked “available” are NOT available in desired sizing and/or sold out.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you if possible. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
If an item is no longer available you will be notified ASAP with an alternate product or the option to refund.
Refunds through PayPal are instant. Refunds through card payments can take 5-7 working days depending on the Bank you are with
Tax Charges for orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is included in the price shown under the product.
For all order outside the European Union, VAT/TAX will be removed at checkout
Payment and Pricing
We take payment from your card or PayPal account at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card or PayPal details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods
Credit Card Security - All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed, via a secure server and provides the Golden padlock symbol, so you can be confident your card details are safe. When you pay Via SagePay (who are a payment service provider - http://www.sagepay.co.uk ) they take your payment on our behalf , so we do not have any of your cards details on file, so we are unable to make any further debits from your card if, for instance you wanted to add an item onto your order. You would need to contact us again with your card details or place a separate order. We accept payment by PAYPAL, SWITCH, SOLO, MASTERCARD, VISA, AND VISA ELECTRON and MAESTRO.
Online price errors. If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being despatched or in store prior to the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.
All clothing / equipment are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase, subject to normal use for the product and a receipt shown with the date of purchase. The parts which are defected will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Worn items through general use are not covered. All skates are guaranteed against manufacturers defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase (this does not include wheels and bearings or other wear and tear parts such as sole plates), subject to normal use for the product and a receipt shown with the date of purchase. Sticks, Shafts, Blades
Due to the nature of the sport, these items are not guaranteed and can last minutes, weeks or months. An unbreakable stick, shaft and blade would not be allowed within the rules of the various sports. However, if you feel your purchased item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us via email – email@example.com with a brief description of the issue long with a few photos highlighting the area in question.

If you have made a purchase and find that it does not fit, provided that item is unused and in its original packaging, we will exchange for and alternative size or refund. All return postage charges from client to Puck Stop will be the responsibility of the client. Puck Stop Ltd will cover any shipping fees for dispatching replacement items(s) from Puck Stop Ltd to the client. All postage costs are non-refundable.
Any Ice Skates that have been sharpened are deemed 2nd hand and cannot be returned unless faulty. When returning, please be sure not to place any tape on the original skate box as this will affect the resale value.
Returns for refunds
Should you wish to return an item(s) for a refund we will refund the full value of the item.
We endeavour to supply only the highest quality product and believe you will be delighted with your product from puckstop.com However, if you are unhappy with the product in anyway it can be returned to us following the steps outlined below. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible.
If you return the product in its original condition including tags & packaging, we will refund you, (excluding postage charges), or provide you with a same cost alternative if required. All you pay for is the return postage of the goods.
If the items are not returned in their original condition. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, 10% of the original purchase price. If the item is deemed not in a suitable condition, we reserve the right to cancel the return and refund, and send the goods back to the customer.
If you return an item to us which is faulty, which you did not order, or was incorrect, we will also pay you the cost of the return postage via Royal mail Recorded Delivery (RM Special Delivery is not included).
Please contact us before you send any faulty item back, as sometimes, all we will require is a photo of the problem. We will then advise you what course of action to take.
If there is a mistake with your order, please contact us first and we will let you know how you should return the item.
